Project Brief: (Brand Book Pt. 2)

Design a prototype webpage based on your brand book.

Visual Research (Pt. 1)
Using the ideas generated in the first exercise as a starting point, begin creating and curating images of your place. While you’re generating this content, or afterwards, organize the images into the three main categories defined in your mind map. You should create/curate at least 30 images per category, for a total of 90 images. As much as possible ensure that the images you create and/or collect are similar in style. For further information regarding visual research, see pp. 38–39 of the textbook. As much as possible, also ensure that your images are high resolution (at least 1650px x 2550px @ 300 pixels per inch). Finally, as much as possible, document where the images came from and who created them.

Brand Book (Pt. 1)
Choose the best 10 images for each category from the collection you curated/created in the visual research phase. Design a “brand book” based on the specifications discussed in class. The chapters of the book will be the three main categories you’ve been working with, and the content will be the images you’ve collected. You will also write a short introduction, and there will be additional navigational features that we will discuss in class. For more information regarding brand books, see pp. 46–47 of the textbook.

Website (Pt. 2)
In addition to the book, you will design a website to contain the images you have collected/created. The website will consist of 4 pages: a home page and a page for each category of images you have identified.
